    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Government of Canada full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great Pension, flexible paid leave, amazing job security

    Cons

The older generation of worker/ clientele within the government can be lazy and resistant to change. Salaries are not competitive to the private sector once you reach a certain level.

I have been working at Government of Canada full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Stable with great benefits, notably pension, which is inexpensive and is a defined benefits plan.

    Cons

Hyper compartmentalized work make progression across disciplines or changing careers unnatural and difficult, especially when considering the GoC has 280k+ employees.

    Advice to Management

    Cultivate flexibility of the workforce
