I have been working at Government of Canada full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits are great. There aren’t many stressors about job performance. Easy to move around to different departments.

    Cons

This leads to others not being held accountable and good work going unnoticed. Language can hold you back from promotional opportunities. You’ll be stressed by lack of movement if you are a results driven individual.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the true hard workers and give them an environment that will keep them challenged and engaged and wanting to continue working hard and contributing.
