    I worked at Graña y Montero S.A.A. for more than a year

    Pros

    Graña y Montero is one of the best companies to work for if you are building your career. They focus a lot on teaching the culture to their employees and give room to generate innovative creative ideas.

    Cons

    the pay is low and if you re in a project out of the city there is only work life, no balance with your personal life.

    I have been working at Graña y Montero S.A.A. full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    A great quality in the work and the norms, in addition to being an ideal company to develop professionally, I have been in charge of more than 1000 people being part of me a team of 12 hsec professionals, I could increase my skills and knowledge.

    Cons

    The hours of work are extensive and the standards are high, but all this is recommended with a good salary and good work practices.

    Advice to Management

    The advice to management is direct, as it is not limited to workers only, in case of developing an activity in which there were doubts or problems, management always has the resources and time to comply with the requirements.

You will usually abandon most of your personal projects. - Really long work hours (at least 1 hour more per day than competitors) - If you work in the headquarters, your work from 8:30am - 7:00 pm (monday to friday).     - You can pay more to your employees given what you charge for them to clients. - Give some time to employees to train with your resourses. Too much workhours don't let them time to do so. - Value more your people.

    Good place to learn and other employers value former employees from this company.

    Cons

    Unless you are a manager´s pet, they use people a lot. You are expected to do unpaid overtime, when you work in a project you have a regime either 14x7 or 21x7. But they make you stay longer, with the promise that they will return those days, at the end the put a lot of barriers not to ruturn them. Contracts are for just 3 months unless you are in the main office. The worst they do is to put on paybills that you are...

    The largest construction company in Peru. The renewed board is working hard for recovering the prestigious gained in past years.

    Cons

    It is being involved in corruption acts recently. Probably, some employees will be dismissed in the following months. There is a instability environment.

    It is a real good company to start your professional career, here you can learn much more and faster than regular companies

    Cons

    the growing path goes very slow, you can find yourself trapped at the same position for longer times, which means salary does not grow either. i will say Work/Life Balance is not their strong's
