      Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Grab full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Good startup with lots of growth and potential. Well stocked pantry. Smart and friendly co-workers.

      Cons

Bad culture, no work life balance. You are expected to work while on leave. Favoritism, poor HR processes, and performance review based on hearsay and who you know in the company. Poor leadership in Finance.

      Advice to Management

Acknowledge (and clean) the existing leadership problems in Finance. Listen to experienced employees. Define a solid strategy, stop favoritism, be self-reflecting and maybe after that, the ratings will improve organically.

I worked at Grab full-time for less than a year

      Pros

      - Lots of great talents from all over the world, especially in product, engineering, and design - Benefit schemes are good, they provide flexible spending for Grabbers to freely utilize - Opportunity to relocate to other offices and divisions, pretty flexible for enabling internal mobility - There are cadence of town halls to maintain transparency across

      Cons

      - So many meetings, people love to sync up so much, may hamper productive hours - Quite lots of bureaucracy for a startup, but technically the company is too big to be called a startup, need major revamp of process management - Recruiting process took so long, benefits mentioned vs actual are not aligned - Product, engineering, and design are still Singapore-centric, quite a hassle for those who are placed in Seattle,...

      Advice to Management

      Pros

      - Super smart colleagues that you can learn from (those from top colleges - Harvard, Oxford, INSEAD..) - Flexible working arrangements (you can choose to work from home or anywhere, as long your tasks in hand are done) - Decent compensation package (with monthly Grab credits for transport, food etc) - YPIMP culture (Your Problem Is My Problem) hence your colleagues will be generally helpful to guide you through...

      - Super fast paced (if you're someone who needs a work-life balance, and not able to schedule your daily tasks efficiently, you might probably struggle. Things evolve really fast in the company that even your project that you're working on could go obsolete in a week's time, so you need to be comfortable with the constant change) - YPIMP culture (can be a con too because if you do not know where to draw the line, you...

      Pros

Flexibility working time; company growing fast.

      Cons

Political and self-serving management. People are indifferent to each other and it became a learnt behaviour after a while. Some early employees are really arrogant and enjoying taking people at their back.

      Advice to Management
