    I worked at Graco full-time

    Pros

Pretty lean corporate hierarchy. Not a lot of bureaucracy or politics. ESPP stock plan is pretty nice. Work from home options.

    Cons

Low salary/benefits compared to average for the industry. Low PTO. A lot of people were much older and had been there a long time.

    Advice to Management

Offer more PTO to allow better work/life balance.

I worked at Graco full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The money is good, but working with new Machines is such a huge plus!!!

    Cons

Management is the major problem, but the employee's with a few years under there belt treat new employee's like Crap,Im a Machinist not a Clown!!!
Except for the hard working Machinist, they should fire everyone else and start Fresh!!!

    Advice to Management

Why-Like the old saying,Right in one ear and out the other.
That's the way it works at Graco!!!

I have been working at Graco full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly place to work with good management. People are always there when you need help on a problem. Good place for resources.

    Cons

Machinists are over paid and engineers are under paid. Machinists are never let go and engineers run the risk of being fired from even the littlest things depending on who you report too. We had a machinist break a 5 figure piece of a machine and not even get in trouble.

Engineers end up working 50-60+ hours and get paid for 40. Machinists work 40-60 and get paid OT. Engineers have more room to grow but you have to work non stop to be able to move up in the company.

    Advice to Management

Pay engineers base + bonus hourly for overtime put in on projects. Manufacturing engineers will work 7, 12 hour days to get a piece of equipment installed and only get paid for 40 hours.

I worked at Graco as an intern

    Pros

Everyone is friendly, smart, and helpful. It's a great teamwork environment. I didn't meet a single person there who wasn't easy to get work with and get along with.

    Cons

This was some of the most boring work I've done in my life...documentation, spreadsheets, QC testing.
When there was something interesting to do (programming, design, engineering), it was still not fun. There is nothing interesting or exciting about glue guns, paint sprayers, etc.

    Advice to Management

Expand your product line to something more innovative or exciting. No young people want to work on machines for an industrial company.
