    Grady has the city best trauma center. If you are involved in a trauma Grady is where you want to be taken. People who work at Grady are friendly and knowledgeable.

    Cons

    Things move slowly. Sometimes things are not as organized as they should be.

    Support staff is payed little attention of gratitude of their value.

    Show more value to all staff, regardless of the level of competence.

    I worked at Grady Health System (More than a year)

    Pros

    strong group of EMTs and Paramedics in a great hospital based company. Lots of amazing hospital where you can see awesome medicine being performed. You can learn from the best and take this experience anywhere and immediate become an amazing asset at other companies. Having this on my resume made my interview process at my current employment a breeze

    Cons

    very busy, never seem to get off on time, would not recommend someone starting there EMS career (as in very first day on a 911 truck) here as it is very fast paced

    You'll encounter a wide range of clinical diagnoses, excellent products and supplies units and grateful patients. Very nice ED areas, pre-op, PACU and ICU's,

    Cons

    Teamwork on patient units variable, chronic staffing shortages, team spirit variable.
