I have been working at Grady Health System full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Unmatchable exposure to various illnesses in DSM. Autonomy in role. Flexibility in schedule. Ability to work in interdisciplinary setting. Supervision available to associate licensed clinicians.

    Cons

It can make employees feel vulnerable due to acuity of patients on the unit. Limited resources available to patients. At times, there is a lack of support for frontline employees. Parking is terrible.

    Advice to Management

Additional support for staff. Foster more of a teamwork environment. Improve the cleanliness of the facility for both staff and patients.

I have been working at Grady Health System full-time

    Pros

    Help pay for nursing school

    Cons

Pay sucks, unorganized, manager use you and cma don't do much. Because they still rather use RN's . Which in my opinion they should be in the ER instead of Clinics. Off site parking is an issue. Have to wait on the bus and they sit forever making you late. Cafe food is nasty and they keep going up on the cost.
