    Pros

Nothing really, the people are fake.

    Cons

No room for creative input unlike interview claims. Like many ad agencies, this one attempts to work quickly with clients over quality.

I worked at Gragg Advertising full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Fun and young group of people to work with - Good location in the Downtown Kansas City area, near public transportation

    Cons

    - Gragg coins the term "advertising" which is very misleading. Advertising is a GREAT and exciting career- don't let Gragg give you a bad taste of the word "advertising." - Greg Gragg is a complete jerk and if you walk by him, you'd better expect he'll blow you off

    Advice to Management

    - Diversify client base - Take interest and invest in employees, they're people too - More upper management involvement with employees

I have been working at Gragg Advertising

    Pros

Good location near downtown. Decent PTO.

    Cons

Employee turnover is very high historically, and management thinks that it is standard for the industry. They even make jokes about it. Professional development is non-existent. Management doesn't care about employees and what direction there has been recently is bad. Many of the employees with any longevity have left, resigned or been laid off. Most importantly, the agency will act in its own self-interest and not... in their customers best interest.

I worked at Gragg Advertising for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great employees that will stay friends long after you are gone.

    Cons

Extremely high turnover. The management does not care about their employees and will emphasize over and over in meetings that employees are replaceable. The industry the market for is going under and fast. They have all their eggs in one basket. The future of this company looks poor at best.

    Advice to Management

None, they don't want to listen anyways

I worked at Gragg Advertising full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fun people that I still keep in touch with. Lots of PTO. Decent pay. River Market has some culture. Learned which clients are the bottom of the barrel.

    Cons

Don't be surprised if you are locked out one day because they fired yet another person & changed all of the codes. Extramarital affairs within the office are common. Drug use with clients is frequent. If you are not a manager you are forced to share a hotel room with a co-worker while traveling. The managers yell & scream at employees on a weekly basis. Parking is less than adequate & unsafe if you have to work... late which is most nights. If you don't make it to work even after KDOT or MODOT closes the roads they will take it off of your PTO. They say they have been so successful that they have never had to lay anyone off...does that still count if you fire people instead to avoid paying severance?
