I have been working at Graham Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great team atmosphere. Everybody is always willing to lend a hand and aid in your development. Many employees have the opportunity to move positions and grow from within. The company has always offered great benefits and is now entirely employee owned so all of the employees will benefit with the company's continued success. They invest a lot of time to train each and every employee which really contributes to the company's incredible culture.

    Cons

Nothing bad to say about the Graham Company.

I have been working at Graham Company full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If you are dedicated, smart and a hard worker, you will do very well here. Benefits are real good and management communicates very well. Strong understanding of where the company wants to go.

    Cons

If you are not dedicated, smart and a hard worker, do not apply as you will not do well here.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the communication.

I have been working at Graham Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits, company is trying to plan for the future. Small company atmosphere and they will pay for licensing.

    Cons

A terrible place to work if you're a female. Gender discrimination is a daily occurrence here; females are pushed into administrative roles even when hired for more upper level positions. Employee Benefits management is terrible at communicating anything to team members. Customer service has been downsized two one person so client dissatisfaction creates a hectic workload for everyone on the team. Drinking occurs in the office on a daily basis and HR refuses to interfere in an appropriate manner when an issue occurs. Benefits were also just slashed, and any company contributions to 401k and profit sharing were cut.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to communicate with employees and start treating both sexes equally in both pay and job responsibilities.

I worked at Graham Company part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

While working there i received a lot of benefits though the pay wasn't ideal. The atmosphere was always great and they were very lenient when I needed time off to care for sick family members.

    Cons

The compensation was very low, base pay of $10 an hour. Could be higher for the amount of work I did.

    Advice to Management

Focus on creating positive vibes towards employees

    Pros

Graham is completely supportive of professional growth.

Every effort is made to ensure that employees are taken care of. Happy employees are hard-working ones!

    Cons

Graham demands a high level of service and dedication to clients needs. Not a bad thing; but you must be a cut above the rest and always striving for improvement. Loafers need not apply.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!

Growth opportunity is taken very seriously
    Rewards are based on merit
Work hard, play hard... Graham knows how to take care of its employees

    Pros

Excellent benefit package (small cost to employees, mostly paid by company). Interview process involves a lot of testing. Nice working environment, good location in CC Philadelphia.

    Cons

Not really a con, but you must fit into the culture. Pride themselves on things being done The Graham way and if you can't produce the quality work expected (mistakes not tolerated) you won't be there long.

    Advice to Management

managment does a good job of communicating with employees

    Pros

Benefit package, parties and Christmas bonus

    Cons

Good ol' boy enviironment, backstabbing rampant from employees and especially management, people are "disposed of" or usually said to be "pursuing other interests" at the whim of anyone who's part of the old man regime

    Advice to Management

Start treating everyone with respect, not just the ones kissing your backsides. Even though the buttkisses usually get screwed in the long run, too.
