    Pros

A lot to learn for freshers!

    Cons

The appraisals really suck, quite demotivate the employee

I worked at Grail Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work Culture is good. Friendly environment and a great learning place if you are staffed with right people. A good company for the person who wants to pursue MBA

    Cons

    There are many:
    1) Professional development chats are useless. It's really difficult to switch the project.
    2) Calibration Process: You have to tell your manager that you want to get promoted. Almost all sincere, hard working, and deservable candidates were denied promotions at my stint. God knows why they do this repeatedly but i have seen many good employees leaving for this reason
    3) Some below average guys in terms of intelligence are handling the projects, they are not at all interested in trying out new things.
    4) Bonus: If you join after June, then no matter how good you perform, you will get a rating of 2 and you will be denied year end bonus.

    Advice to Management

Stop the PDA sessions, they are worthless! Staff new employees on the basis of their qualifications. A guy who graduated with a degree in chemical engineering does not mean that he would be great in LS research

I have been working at Grail Research full-time

    Pros

Pros depend if you get assigned to a good project. A good project would get give you a good learning experience in the organisation.

    Cons

Everyone is so full of themselves. So rude all the time. They would deliberately do that to make you feel like you are the part of a big shot organisation which is not the case.

    Advice to Management

Try to understand your employees and treat them as "human" resources and and just "property"

I worked at Grail Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary Structure (Far high compared to two major competitors based in Noida)
You could get up to 130% of your bonus if you perform well.
Let me tell you that no matter what you do if you perform you could do magic in this company, end up going to South Africa, UK or US
    Easy work from home policy
Great consulting-type projects in Medical Devices or Pharma Domain
Account from Big Medical Device Company and Pharma Company so you get to utilize your skills
Bring another offer on the table and this company will match it. There are levels obviously but not for who could perform well
Joining Bonuses of 150000 to 250000 were or are being given
Projects which are not only from Market Research or Market Assessment but from Consulting Type of Nature
I have seen friendly nature of Project Leads, APMs and PMs over here
There have been projects where people have taken close to 150 interviews in Primary Research based project and also this company doesn't play or manipulates like couple of market research companies do

    Cons

When it got taken over by Integreon, this company was making profits and then those profits were used to sustain LPO of Integreon
Recent acquisition by VC firm is trying to scrutinize Integreon and it will in best interest of Grail to be sold to its parent company as it is making far more profits and cannot carry burden of Integreon
Work-life balance is a big issue, however, you could work from home anytime you want and pay is great compared to KPOs in Noida, however, still low compared to big consulting firms in Gurgaon
Nepotism is rampant but this con is only for those who are not able to achieve in Grail Research and blame on VPs and Directors that there is wide Nepotism

    Advice to Management

LS-Team is doing great and we have seen the wonders here. Directors and VPs are great and we all like spending time as one big family of Grail Research

    Pros

Any fresher is recommended to join this company that can teach you so much within the first 2 years of your job that their counterparts or even large organisation will not in 5 years. Thumbs Up to the Leadership and People First approach. One of the best companies to work for.

    Cons

    - Calibration process should be a little more clearer
    - Work Life balance i believe has improved

    Advice to Management

Keep up the excellent work ON !!!

I have been working at Grail Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Amazing projects but very few.
High chances of exposure to different industries vis-a-vis healthcare, FMCG Telecom.
Relatively better remuneration (only at entry level) as compared to many others out there.

    Cons

Hell bent on cost cutting in recent times.
Seem less interested in retaining talent.
Reduction in salaries at managerial level (for newly promoted), hence no incentive for existing employees to work hard. They would prefer to leave.

    Advice to Management

They don't need advice. Advice is for stupids. Its just the implementation of common sense that needs to be restored.
