I worked at Grainger full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Local management, resources, compensation, great and affordable health insurance, life/work balance

    Cons

Upper management isn't that intune with what's going on within local areas- like with any corporation- main difference with Grainger though is they actually spend time talking to local AMs and DSMs and even customers to better understand challenges and how they can do better.

I worked at Grainger full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Top of the market benefits and compensation and plenty of ability to move around within finance.

    Cons

It is a very tenured department, so it is very hard to move vertically within finance or Accounting. There are people who have been in the same manager / director roles for 5+ years.

I have been working at Grainger full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Coworkers are collaborative and friendly, managers are some of the best I've encountered. Employees are dedicated to the company and enjoy working here and it shows. The work itself is diverse and interesting, and the company is increasingly becoming more agile. On top of it all great comp, benefits, and work-life balance - what more can you ask for?

    Cons

    Some outdated systems and processes
