Great paid time off. You can attend worship on campus if you are local.
Cons
The corporate side tends to clash with its Christian beliefs. Workers are still pushed to the limit and work life balance can be challenging.

Jul 8, 2014 - Full Service University Development Representative in Seattle, WARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Benefits are fantastic. Strong growth market. Home campus in Phoenix is amazing. The CEO is a very dynamic leader.
Cons
Training is sub-par. Company does not live up to its values on the operations side. Management communication is very poor. Work life balance is almost non-existent in this position. CEO cannot live up to the promises he is making.

Good company but many challenges.

I love GCU! Unique university and movement. Fast growth and great culture for students though not perfect. Good people. Work from home, paid higher than other admissions jobs, flexible schedule.
Cons
I work 40-60 hours a week with no bonus. Monthly and yearly sales goals. Management is all about numbers and feel they don't build into and care for their employees which is shocking for a Christian university. Stressed all the time and never caught up as we are expected to financially clear all of our students. Reps do almost everything. You don't refer families to a department. Very hard to manage work/life balance. Very limited room to grow professionally.
