I worked at Grandview Pharmacy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's a job I guess , nice co workers but low pay you can make more working in a warehouse in my honest opinion.

    Cons

Manangement not really nice most of the times , They keep the bad workers and fire the good ones .

    Advice to Management

More open to listen to employees

I have been working at Grandview Pharmacy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

For pharmacists- great hours, low stress, I get to sit down, I have a lunch break.

    Cons

Training could be improved. It’s a bit trial by fire- sometimes you don’t know you’re doing something wrong until it’s happened and if you’re the only pharmacist available at the time you might not get answers quickly. It sometimes appears that money is valued above all else but I guess that happens with most businesses.

    Advice to Management

People are valuable. Make them feel that way. Wouldn’t you rather spend money on boosting morale and keeping employees than having to spend money constantly training new people?

I have been working at Grandview Pharmacy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A strong sense of family, many opportunities for professional growth and career development, accessibility of the ownership.

    Cons

Nothing is handed to you, everything you can gain from Grandview must be earned. If you invest in the company, you will be rewarded.

    Advice to Management

Building a sense of family among all employees is always the number one priority. People need to know that they belong somewhere and are appreciated. Grandview does this better than anyone else. Continue putting customers and employees first, and God will take care of the rest.

I have been working at Grandview Pharmacy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I am not sure that this really applies to what I do, since I mostly do the Emergency Drug Kits. I enjoy doing the kits, it gives me a sense of ownership and accomplishment. The times that I have worked on the counter, I have found that, since I’ve been a pharmacy technician in Fort Wayne for many years, I waited on many of our elderly patients at the retail pharmacy that I worked at before coming here. I guess really, knowing many of them for an extended period of time, gives me the passion to continue to help the elderly as much as I am capable.

    Cons

I can't really think of any major cons at this point.

    Advice to Management

Originally, because I needed a change of scenery, I had been in retail for a long time. I had only been here a short time, when the CEO came and visited the Fort Wayne location. We were introduced, not only did the CEO know my name, but he also knew the company I had worked for. My previous company, the CEO had no idea who I was, what I did, or that I had worked there for 18 years.

I have been working at Grandview Pharmacy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I like working at GrandView because people are very nice and friendly to work with. I love to work 1st shift. It works better with having small kids. Grandview has really good benefits and I appreciate that I have guaranteed hours.

    Cons

Not enough people in the morning shift at this time. HR is working on this.

    Advice to Management

We need more staff in the 1st shift when only 2 people work. It makes us stressed when we get so many stats and sometimes IV’s too that causes our pack out and C-II kit area work backlog. It also gets very stressful when someone calls off in the morning then the only other technician has to do all the work until 2nd shift comes in.

    Advice to Management

For people to listen to employees at all times.
