Hours can be long, management is hit or miss but seems to be improving. Work can get very tedious and frustrating at times but that's expected in public accounting.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Grant Thornton full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Better work life balance than the Big 4.

    Cons

Too much bureaucracy and politics, but it's hard to escape that when you're in corporate america.

    Advice to Management

Reinstate upward feedback for seniors and managers so the staff have the opportunity to express their thoughts on the level of training provided and their experience on engagements overall. A lot of the time the training isn't there and the staff don't get the experience they need going forward in the first year.
