I have been working at Gravitational Marketing full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

This outfit is the finest company I have ever had the pleasure to be associated with. Challenging, supportive, fantastic benefits, owners, directors and managers that care about you and encourage both your professional and personal growth, fun exciting work environment, excellent pay, even an in house library and gym! Free food, snacks, and drinks. The people that work here are beautiful in spirit, a secure safe building. You must have a key card to enter. Brilliant owners that set an example and teach, support and encourage you. Fun and hard work! It really is a great and best place to work.

Lazy or average? You need not apply, if so you won't be around long. A negative review about this outfit? Well, that's on you not the company.

    Pros

Free food, fast Internet (100 mbps down). 5 weeks vacation is nice, but that includes your sick pay too, which basically makes it like all other companies. The insurance offerings are lame. No pensions at all. The 401k options are decent. Christmas gifts/lotteries are kind of nice. If you're lucky they will hand you a $100 bill at the end of the year. Relaxed dress code is nice, but all Agencies have that. Macbook Pros are used but they are from 2014 and they don't let you take them home ever.

    Cons

CULT. Please don't work here. Almost all of the positive reviews here were written by the "Directors" of the company to combat the negative reviews. To the two owners they are the only employees that matter because all they do is capitulate and do what they want, no questions asked. A negative to me, but the two owners are Trump robots. They have all of his books in the company library. If you're progressive/Liberal, not for you at all. If the two owners read a book they like they change everything in the company, make you read the book, then force the book's contents into the company culture. Flavor of the day. Every day the company gathers and makes each employee stand up and tell the entire company what they have achieved from the previous day. Complete waste of time. It takes at least a half-hour when you could be conducting business. Prove you're worthy to stay employed...

    Pros

Pay is average. Having 5 weeks vacation is nice if you can even use it. Free food, free beer fridays.

    Cons

Culty. Gongs. Cowbells. Nonsense. Don't drink the koolaid too soom. You always have to prove yourself. Sales, pyramid scheme firm, open office space is weird.

    Advice to Management

Come down to reality, your head is in the clouds.

I worked at Gravitational Marketing full-time

    Pros

They are pretty good about providing company lunches every now and then, so if you value free food, this is the place for you. You can also feel safe knowing that at the very least, a close family member of at least one high ranking employee will provide vigilante style justice whenever a disgruntled ex-employee threatens the workplace. I will say that I never had to take work home with me, so that's a plus.

    Cons

This place is more like a cult than a place of business. If you don't drink the Kool-Aid, you won't fit in. Be prepared to be grossly undercompensated for your work, and constantly pushed to provide more value than can reasonably be expected with such limited resources. You deserve more. The owners consider themselves God's Gift to Marketing, and will impose their so-called wisdom upon you when (A) they feel like morale is low, (B) they aren't visiting their mysterious guru, or (C) they aren't performing magic tricks or playing with puppets. Stockholm Syndrome is alive and well here. Also, you have to work with and for car dealers, so there's that.

    Advice to Management

Stand up to Jim and Travis. Whether they like it or not, they pay you for your expertise and experience. That being said, your opinion matters. Although it might be hard because you feel like your position could be put in jeopardy, your subordinates (the people who actually do most of the work) will appreciate you much more for it and will work harder to make sure you look good in front of Jim and Travis. Be yourself, not who you think Jim and Travis want you to be. If you lose your conviction it will only add to the problem that already exists within this company; complete conformity based solely on the basis of fear and social exclusion.

I have been working at Gravitational Marketing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nice, friendly staff. Lot's of free food. Avalon Park is like working in a little village. Friendly people

    Cons

Not much opportunity for growth (in sales) I have read most of the reviews and I am sure that both sides are telling it as it is for them. There is a world of difference between working in IT, Creativity, HR OR SOME OTHER DEPT as compared to sales. And there is a huge difference between working as a appointment setter as opposed to being a sales closer as I was closing GMs for $36,000 memberships. Some of us have been in sales with other companies and experienced a different world. My main complaint was that management was closed to hearing any new ideas even though what they told us to do was not working.

    Advice to Management

Model the best sales companies in Orlando and across America. They have high productsion and low turnover for a reason. Care as much as building your emplyees and helping them succeed as you do making $$$ ORGANIZE regular training for all sales emplyees, role plays etc. Review recordings of employees presentations with sales people. Point out weaknesses and strengths. Never look at any employee as just a number and reference high unemployment Florida laws as a scare tactic.
