Culture Is Important
Jan 9, 2023 - Design Manager in Charlotte, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Better Pay than traditional Architecture or Construction. Lots of friendly people and work is impressive in size and the clientele.
Cons
Culture can be divisive. If you are a more country person, and understand what southern construction workers are like, then you will fit right in. If you are more progressive or liberal, you might struggle to get along with people. If you are easily offended by how some people act, what they say, or what they joke about, it likely isn't a place for you.

Clique
Dec 6, 2022 - Anonymous Employee in Lexington-Fayette, KYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
decent benefits that’s pretty much it.
Cons
The pay is mediocre compared to competitors. The CEO is nice but his message of inclusion and “golden rule” has not trickled down to most of the other leadership. Prepared to not receive recognition for anything you do. People that have been there far less time than others are getting promoted, these people are usually a part of a clique. It’s extremely defeating, especially when more work is given to you.

Pros
People you work with are great!
Cons
Pay raises, this year they seemed to have skimped a lot of people on their raises, cost of living has gone up a lot and raise percentages went down.

Pros
Company is big, but will take care you like a family member.
Cons
Not sure at this moment
- Current Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
Good benefits, casual dress unless special occasion, flexible
Cons
Clique, very much a “mean girls” attitude in accounting and HR. If you are a favorite you will be cared for and promoted, even if lacking good management or basic people management skills— that does not seem to matter to the CFO. Finance leadership constantly yields to the demands of other departments therefore are not supportive of their employees. They advertise many cultural events but employees end up having to front the cost for a lot of those things.
