    Pros

Well established company that is financial stable. Good longevity for careers. Perfect long term job if you have desire for slow steady growth.

Lacking Accountability in the upper management. Decision making is slow and change is difficult. With the new directions in IT however this could be changing.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

    Good work environment and benefits.

    Cons

Must pay to park or take the bus (no subsidies).
Hiring focus is on Millennials and the promotion opportunities/focus is on Gen Y. Not much room to advance if you don't fit one of these categories.

    Pros

Great benefits and good pay. Lots of PTO and flexible work schedule.

    Cons

Since the new CIO has come in he has hired a ton of HP coworkers he worked with when he was at HP. It seems every week a new HP person is being hired or promoted to management. If you're and old GAI employee you just pray everyday you don't get demoted or fired. With these new people come the new ideas. Some are great and some suck. Their latest idea is to do away with all cubes, so employees can work together more closely. Its just making for an unpleasant work environment. They also have a lot of HCL Indian folks in there, that have no clue what they are doing. Working with HCL offshore is very irritating.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at some groups that are utilizing HCL and see if they're worth the cost. Management hides a lot of what goes on in their group. If you want honest feed back, you should take the time and talk to some employees that are not management.
