I worked at Great Expectations full-time

    Pros

Easy hours 1030-6 M-F and an occasional Saturday

    Cons

Upper management is very unprofessional, you are paid poorly to dupe people into spending their money for an ancient site, that is far less beneficial for finding love than say match.com 1 year membership was 7k when I left. Only 2 couples in the 3 years I worked there got engaged/married. This job made me hate myself for doing this to all these people.

    Advice to Management

Do honest business, this is a scam system and you all know it.

    Pros

    Matchmaking People.

The potential to make good money.

    Good work schedules.

    Cons

    Cliquish. Favoritism runs rampant!

    Non Existent Training.

The strong and those with senority survive.

The current call center manager is arrogant, she will in a second push her seniority and, "Miss Know It All" attitude on you!

    Small work environment.

    No job security.

    Advice to Management

Please hire a different and competent call center manager.

Revamp your training class by hiring competent and patient training staff, or train those staff already existing to be caring and competent. Lol.

Find ways to reduce the high turnover.

If so many staff in that small call center makes good money for GE...maybe it's time to expand to a bigger office.

Stop over hiring people and wasting their times in case if they don't make it through the training or the actual job as other better job opportunities may arise in their lives.
