I worked at Great Wolf Lodge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work culture, casual environment, helpful managers

    Cons

Due to pricing system on rooms and policies on discounts, caller's can be upset and you can easily accumulate stress. A point attendance system that can be very unforgiving.

    Advice to Management

Disappointment with corporate standards is not the same as insulting the company.

I worked at Great Wolf Lodge part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay was good compensation for what I did, as a lifeguard, it was a fairly easy job, the people who I worked with were nice, and shifts were well spaced.

    Cons

Cons, the management could be a little rude and out of sync with what the other workers needed. Getting time off was also rough.

    Advice to Management

I don't think there is anything that can be changed, but it would be nice for lifeguards to be able to get more time off when they needed it.

    Cons

Health insurance cost is very high, moving through the company takes quite a bit of time, getting a response from directors for days off takes far too much time

    Advice to Management

Better advising base level employees who wish to move up in the company

I worked at Great Wolf Lodge part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible when it comes to scheduling. Benefits and discounts were nice. The pay was okay but could have been better.

    Cons

Only gave raises based on “performance” and did them yearly. Management did not treat employees with enough respect. Sometimes felt overworked and underpaid. Gave discipline when it wasn’t needed.

    Advice to Management

Work on attendance policies and pay rates.
