I worked at Great Wolf Lodge full-time

    Pros

Great team building and company events, free day passes to the waterpark on days off, discount rooms, double time on holidays worked and thanksgiving/christmas dinner provided. Sometimes you're lucky enough to get tips. Most coworkers are awesome.

    Cons

Not enough time to clean rooms properly if you're short on supplies. Need more effective laundry setup to keep up with housekeeping demands. Open all holidays, so the chance of getting one of those days off is slim to none even if requested. Management can be condescending.

    Advice to Management

Set up holiday list for employees to use when requesting certain time off so that everyone has an equal chance of getting a holiday off. Figure out how to get all housekeepers an equal amount of supplies to ensure timely rooms. Need more mattress protectors/fitted sheets/facecloths/hand towels to avoid falling behind. Either outsource some laundry to keep up or buy more supplies.

    Pros

Flexible when it comes to scheduling. Benefits and discounts were nice. The pay was okay but could have been better.
