I worked at Great Wolf Resorts part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule and fun place to work.

    Cons

It was too far for me to work.

    Advice to Management

A better way to apply and having a quicker process to get hired. A easier way to view former employees to be hired with a re-hire status still valid.

    Pros

Great Wolf Lodge has an excellent management staff and a friendly work environment. Working with Great Wolf makes you feel like your part of a bigger team.

    Cons

Certain job positions at Great Wolf Lodge are hard to switch out of such as Lifeguarding, due to the lack of staffing it sometimes has.

    Advice to Management

The Management staff does a great job, but i feel they need to work on the scheduling software as it is sometimes very hard and aggravating.

I worked at Great Wolf Resorts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    ~Great pay
~Easy work (if you can handle call centers)
    ~Employee benefits
~Discounted resort stays, water park passes and sometimes free overnight stays
~Opportunities for bonuses and over time and easy commission
~During peak seasons they offer additional money/prizes for when you pick up OT. Every hour counted as a point. And prizes start as little as 5 points ($5 gift card or something small) all the way up to free weekend stays,PTO, gift certificates.
~Talking to happy parents/families after they booked a stay
~Fun workplace-they'll pass out hot chocolate when it's cold outside, let you spin a wheel for prizes, spirit days, onsite carnivals, will do contests throughout the day (also, on a slow night they will instant message everybody who's there and ask some Great Wolf trivia. If you got it right, you could leave early if you wanted to,lol)
~Great training program-2 weeks long but they do a fantastic job so when you're on the floor you can manage just fine
~Management genuinely wants to see you succeed and help you however they can-they have a team of people who specifically answer questions that agents may have that.

    Cons

~Angry customers (mostly due to the price and the "catch" that comes with all their promotions)
    ~Extremely busy at times
    ~Attendance system-
    ~Exhausting and draining days
    ~Small office = gossip/drama
~Weekly meetings where you meet with your team lead and listen to all your calls and grade them (can affect you achieving bonus)-grading sometimes inconsistent between teams
~Impossible to switch between blocks (set times for each shift to start) unless you've been working there for ages.
