    Pros

Good place to work especially being an agent or independent broker because corporate lets u control your own business while still providing any support you need.

    Cons

Even though they have 200+ agents all working under the same umbrella it feels like 200 individual companies because agents rarely work together mainly due to greed.

    Advice to Management

If u want to get agents to work together and grow Greatwide as a whole then you should be willing to lose some commission as well. Instead of putting it all on the agents to work out the % split you should be willing to give a little as well.

I worked at Greatwide Logistics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The only Pros is when senior management stays away from the Plant

    Cons

    1. Expected hours are WAY TOO LONG.
    2. Shift Supervisors are told to make it happen for production but make any decisions unless we check with managment
    3. Shift Supervisors are expected to work 14-16 hours a day
    4. When asked for a day off, was chastised for not being a "TEAM PLAYER"
    5. The performanc improvment plan is a tool to be fired, not a tool for improving

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the people that spend all the hours workign to make it better and less attention to others who want to sqeel on others
Make it worth someones time and effort to be at work so much.

    Pros

Greatwide used to be a great company to work for before the merger.

    Cons

There is no sense of security, there is no support, there is no training and no communication. Raises are at best every other year at about 1-3%.

    Advice to Management

Know the roles and functions of your employees, give them support and communicate what is going on with the company.
