    Pros

Early morning to fit around busy schedule.

    Cons

Don't work too hard. It will be overshadowed and unappreciated. Others will benefit and if the hours drop you will be the first to go because your too busy working to be the life of the party.

    Advice to Management

Management and workers = royalty & presents is not a good outlook for a company.

I have been working at Green BEAN Delivery full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good coworkers that are hard working but beaten down

    Cons

Manager has no ability to lead or even follow for that matter. When anyone needs him he can usually be found locked in his office or car smoking dope and texting. Terrible communication and blames all his faults on others.

    Advice to Management

Get an actual manager instead of this joke that requires constant "babysitting"from corporate.

I worked at Green BEAN Delivery full-time

    Pros

There used to be free produce and other perks for employees, until they were taken away.

    Cons

Terrible management, no more employee perks, the atmosphere of the company changed when owners changed, never get full hours, constant turnover and poor organization, complete inconsistency in how much work some people due, will never get rewarded for hard work. I had no problem finding a higher paying job and so much less work now.

    Advice to Management

There would have to be new managers, because no one knows what they are doing, or how to treat people with respect.

I worked at Green BEAN Delivery full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Coworkers were literally the only reason I stayed as things got consistently worse. We used to get free food, which was great because I'd be ecstatic to talk to potential customers about what I made with my bin that week. Now I tell them they're better off picking their own produce at Whole Foods instead of having some guy who sees 1500 apples a day throw 4 in a bag like he doesn't care. If I had one suggestion, if you insist on working there, drive. Only drive, and never do anything else, it's not worth the extra bs. Matt is a great guy but I'm not sure why he is shown as the CEO, he backed down to run the farms and handed control to the new President, Shane Towne, some Harvard MBA who runs Indianapolis Fruit. All I know is he showed up, our free food disappears and we stopped getting a holiday bonus, shortly later I was fired for making 4 mistakes over 3 months, literally a week after Shane told me he really hopes that I am with the company a long time.

    Cons

Micromanagement in the warehouse. Insane write ups for every little thing (I seriously got a warning for fixing something once.) Constant employee turn around. 14+ hour days during the holiday season. Standard yearly raises (.75-dollar) which is terrible for people who come in as a rockstar and have to wait 12 months for the same raise the lazy guy gets. Taking away employee benefits like free bins with no notice, which accounted for about 15% of starting pay in food costs. Management does not listen to (or at least almost never does anything about) employee concerns. They like to pretend they're all about treating the employees well and making customers happy but you'll quickly see it's all about the bottom line. Taking on more responsibilities does not mean higher pay, lots of lateral movements and very little actual upper ward mobility. Extremely unfriendly to over time and considers 32 hours as full time.

    Advice to Management

I could run a register at Whole Foods for the same pay. Listen to your employees concerns and don't tell us you're installing AC "for us," in January, when the warehouse is -5 degrees. It's quite obvious the AC is to keep the products cold during the summer, otherwise you'd install working heat for the employees in the winter. Stop treating people like they're just dumb pawns in your chip counting games.
