    Pros

It's a good place to work. The hours are ok.

    Cons

Could do without the drama and gossip. No wonder why you have such a high turnover rate.

I worked at Green Mill Restaurants part-time

    Pros

The menu prices were rather high which resulted in higher sales and tips. The food was good and easy to sell. The hours were not terrible.

    Cons

Management was poor and incentivized counter-intuitive business practices. For example, making a competition for how much soda a server can sell when alcoholic drinks are the higher priced items. The branch I worked in had a cancerous culture where the head servers were very insecure and spent most of the time talking about one another behind their backs. Management did nothing to stop petty behavior.

    Advice to Management

Respect employees who have worked at your company for a long time. Try to eliminate employees that make coworkers lives miserable. The branch I worked at had the rudest closing servers that spent most of the time gossiping and as a result had an extremely high turnover rate among newer servers.

I worked at Green Mill Restaurants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great Place to work, Fun people to work with and as long as you have a manager that can coordinate well you are fine

    Cons

Hours can be stressful but such is the life of a bartender. Sometime people are cut before they should be but again this is the restaurant business.

    Advice to Management

Be wary of cutting people to early as service will suffer. This can lead to customers not returning.

I worked at Green Mill Restaurants part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I loved the people I worked with, and the customers that came in!

    Cons

Management was not good, and didn't have anything together. They wouldn't let me serve when I was 18 due to being in high school still. I gave everything to this company and got nothing really in return. It was a great learning experience.

I worked at Green Mill Restaurants part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great Management
    Friendly regulars
Diverse menu that offers a great selection
Great place for advancing within the company

    Cons

Secret shopping is overrated and unreliable
    Budget can often be tight
Personally believe managers work almost too hard for their pay

    Advice to Management

Put more effort into supplying the company with what it needs. Many menu items often don't get ordered or frequently become messed up. Use that as an opportunity to try something new for your menu to get more customers inside.

    Pros

Awesome teamwork oriented atmosphere. Makes it enjoyable to go to work. Great job if you are a college student or looking for parttime work.

    Cons

Can be a little frustrating with management. Some of them care a lot about the restaurant and the employees. Others don't.

    Advice to Management
