I worked at Green Star Exteriors full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with, fun job at times, and management you could always talk to. The bonus pay is pretty good if you're hitting high demo rates.

    Cons

Hours are terrible. If you want me there at 11 am, let's do something before 1. Pay was awful for me. I guess over time it might be better, but never consistent. If your leaving a job for this one I suggest you dont. If this is your first job, it's a good opportunity. Oh and if you like to irritate people this job might be perfect for you.

    Advice to Management

Dont lie about the average pay, there's no way it's as high as you say. Probably add in the field managers. So people, be wary of that. The hours could really be looked into changing to make less downtime. I'd rather go out and work for 5 hours straight rather than screw around for 3 of them.

    Pros

Uhh... well that's awkward. Just beware when you join all management does is talk up the company just to put a lid on their awful turnover rate. Don't buy it.

    Cons

This place really sucks. You knock on doors until 8:00pm. After carrying out your job in a "professional" manner, you can accurately expect the cops to be called on you in about 1 out of 4 days on average. Then you get added to a public solicitation record. Join a better company. Even if you don't have a GED.

    Advice to Management

Find another way to engage your end consumer. You can't go forcing your way onto someone's property even if they have a need. People don't do door to door anymore. Plus it's dangerous to put young adults at risk like that especially at night - I didn't know we had to deal with the police until they actually showed up. I was only there three weeks but I'd imagine you can get better benefits anywhere.

I have been working at Green Star Exteriors full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The culture at Green Star is second to none, it is without a doubt the most fun and easy going company I have ever been a part of. It has a real community vibe and employees actually enjoy working with each other from the Entry level Business Development Reps to upper management. There is also a huge potential for professional growth IF you work hard. I have been working at Green Star for around 8 months and have already advanced from entry level business development to outside sales/account executive and have the potential to make more money than I could have imagined one year ago. If your a college graduate and not sure what your next move is I would highly consider checking out Green Star even if you have no sales experience, and would highly recommend applying even if your not a college grad. There is obviously a learning curve at first if you have no sales experience but once you get the hang of it the potential for growth is endless.

    Cons

Entry level BDR hours are long.

I have been working at Green Star Exteriors full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

What I like about the company most would be the opportunity for advancement and personal growth. I have worked at Green Star for just shy of 1 year and already have been considered for a management role.

The new office is very nice. I was a part of the company when we made the transition from our smaller office to our much larger remodeled office and I must say this has been one exciting year! Its great to be a part of a team that is growing and wants to go to work.

    Cons

too many eagles fans in the company

    Advice to Management

    keep up the good work!
