I have been working at Greene Resources full-time

    Pros

Professional but fun work environment! I’ve always felt valued and appreciated in my role. The teams are great to work with and the communication lines are very open

    Cons

    None I can think of!

    Advice to Management

Management always keeps employees in the loop with business changes and updated policies. I love working for a company where people are valued.

I worked at Greene Resources full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Entry level job if you have no other office experience
    - Nice and modern office
    - office snacks

    Cons

    - I can't say it enough but Greene is just like being in high school with CLIQUES
    - Snarky and catty early 20's young females is all that works there
    - The way they treat contract internal employees is horrible (be prepared to feel like an outsider even though you are working at the Greene office)
    - Management has no experience on how to actually manage employees, the only thing they did was stay while the company was being built.

    Advice to Management

Take some management classes, try to include everyone, stop being childish and having cliques, raise your wages (barely livable for Raleigh)

    Pros

Great at helping their employees find contract positions.

    Cons

    Pros

    No pros to working here.

    Cons

Terrible managers with even worse management styles, unless you enjoy being micromanaged. Executives have no leadership experience. There is absolutely no collaboration or no innovation involved with this organization. Also, they are deceitful to their clients in hopes to gain business. They are lacking knowledge and experience in IT staffing which is why the are not successful. I even emailed the CEO and owner of Greene multiple times to express not only my concern of the direction the IT staffing group was headed, but also provide recommendations to grow and enhance the team and the business. Never heard back from him. Hence they are still floundering.

I have been working at Greene Resources full-time

    Pros

The organization is in a constant metamorphis. If you’re looking for an environment that will give you experience across multiple disciplines, it’s a great place to dive in.

Leadership is strong and the President is the nicest, most genuine man you could come across.

    Cons

The ever changing environment can be frustrating if you’re ill-equipped for the unexpected. This is a world where collaboration is necessary and sometimes those you rely on cannot handle the world and many make your experience more frustrating.

Being in the agency world, turnover is substantial and can cause greater stress and frustration because new people have a learning curve.

    Advice to Management

Consider the aptitude and ability for details and need for answers to “why am I doing this?” when assessing personality types for roles outside of recruiting.

    Pros

Team Building. Wonderful CEO. Team/Individual recognition. Benefits. Paid Time Off. Coffee. Anniversary/Birthday celebrations

    Cons

As with any company, there are petty people who will try their hardest to tarnish your reputation. Sometimes successfully which is sad. COO relies heavily on personality assessment test, taken prior to hiring, to form her opinion on you as a person & therefore make assumptions on how you handle tasks on the job.

    Advice to Management

Consider forgoing the personality test, and instead have some conversations with your employees and get to know them on a human level rather than through a computerized test. You might be surprised by the differences in the results.

I worked at Greene Resources full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The interview was fine. I was told about the position and what the company is about. Communication lines were always open. They were very confident in placing me with the company that has hired me on permanently after 3 months. It went very smoothly with no issues. The last employment agency I worked with has a bigger brand name than Greene Resources but lacks the common sense and decency that my recruiter showed me during my contractor stage and then on to my permanent hiring. I appreciated that.

    Cons

No Challenges for me. They said it and it happened.
