    I have been working at Greenspire (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I really took this job because I wanted to do something to make a difference that would still allow me to pay my bills. So far, it's been way better than I hoped for. I am helping protect the environment and helping people save money. The pay has been good and the training and support I've received from management and my teammates has been even better.

    Cons

    I have to drive pretty far to the monthly company meetings. They are only once a month and they're always fun though, so I still like going overall (I just don't like the drive).

    Advice to Management

    Let's get San Diego fully opened up. I want to help run that region!

    Pros

    Greenspire has been the most fun place I've ever worked. My favorite part is getting to go to team nights and actually being friends with the people I work with. Everyone is very inviting. Even the Executives come out and visit the new employees. There's a lot of support.

    Cons

    Some people just always think there's a catch. Unfortunately we can't win everyone over, but the customers who are open minded and take the time to listen are always happy with our work.

    Advice to Management

    More events!

    Advice to Management

    It is a young company, but like any young company, there are kinks to be worked out. I think as long as there is an open minded approach with an attention to what the end goal is then it very well, will breed success.

    Pros

    I am really fortunate to be working in an environment where everyone is so driven to make an impact. A on society by helping homeowners going green and lowering their utility bills but also B by making a difference in their lives. Everyone wants to learn and contribute to the team. I love the fact that here at Greenspire we embrace technology.

    Pros

    There are great employees and it can be fun to work there. That is the only pro.

    Cons

    This company DOES NOT care about its employees. I was at a meeting with the C.E.O. present, and he was incredibly rude the employees there. Also, if you are not successful, and sometimes even if you are, the broken pay structure will leave you with no money when you need it. This job is purely commission based. Don't let them fool you with the stipend. The stipend is BARELY enough to do the job period, but doesn't cover food, bills, or spending money. DO NOT take a job with this horrible company unless you have a solid backup plan or back up income. They will let you drown in your bills and not lose any sleep over it. They will have you work easily over 40 hours a week. I was even forced to deal with work on my days off constantly.

    Rework the pay structure to actually pay your employees decent wages.

    Pros

    Super supportive team of management and overall work atmosphere. Everyone's there to win, so it makes it fun and competitive. The company is growing so fast and I can't wait to see it get next level.

    Cons

    There could potentially be a lot of free time or driving time, so if you can't be productive with too much free time or don't like to drive then probably not a great fit

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up and your adaptation to the industry, etc has been great

    You'll know what being taken advantage of by an employer feels like.

    Cons

    Knock on 100+ doors a day for zero dollars, schedule appointments for zero dollars, should you find yourself lucky enough to have a customer attend your meeting, if they decide not to sign up you receive zero dollars, mandatory meetings across town? Zero dollars. It's a complete joke. Management is a complete joke. The product is a complete joke.

    Advice to Management

    Let me know how you sleep at night. The field level employees are a complete meat grinder turnover job.

    Walking around in the hot sun is taxing on the body. Even though it was advertised as not being sales, you only get paid in commissions.
