    I worked at Grey Healthcare Group full-time

    Pros

    Sorry. There are none to speak of.

    Cons

    Overworked every day--even weekends and holidays! If you set your sights on taking a job at Phase Five Communications, expect to surrender your life, time and sanity to work at Phase Five Communications. There's no structure, organization or respect for work/life balance. As another reviewer said, "you're a slave worker"--nothing more. The attitude is 'churn-n-burn.' Very high turnover, very angry coworkers, no collaboration, no respect for one another, you're treated like dirt.

    Advice to Management

    Stop asking us to write 5-star glowing reviews to negate all the factual and truthful bad reviews. I couldn't bring myself to lie for you and Phase Five Communications. I, as well as so many others, left instead to pursue a job where I really can work 9-5. Your website company hours is an outright LIE. 24/7 Monday0Sunday is more like it. Stop the lying and coverup of shameful working conditions.

    Pros

    Happy hour every Thurs during the summer. Good holiday schedule.

    Cons

    Cons definitely outweigh the pros. Within a years time, 7 people in the Finance/Acct department quit. That speaks a lot about the company, as Finance/Acct usually don't have high turnover rates. There are also high turnover rates for other departments as well. This company is losing clients and pitches due to poor management.

    Advice to Management

    Hire competent management, who are qualified for the job. Qualifications should be based on actual skills and experience. It is good to promote from within, IF they are qualified.

    Pros

    I love my team and department. They make working here as good as it is.

    Cons

    Not enough staff for client bandwidth

    Advice to Management

    If someone leaves the company, hire a replacement-- don't expect current employees to pick up the slack.

    I worked at Grey Healthcare Group (More than a year)

    Pros

    • You are not homeless.
    * You can drink on the outdoor deck

    Cons

    * no direction or plan from upper management
    * its more political than a congressional hearing
    * technology is an afterthought
    * abusive upper management
    * no communication
    * resistant to change
    * company structure is set up to force people to compete for their jobs

    This company will suck your soul. Unless you are trying to get your foot in the door stay away.

    Advice to Management

    This company needs someone to clear house. The upper management that is in place does not know what they are doing. They are caught in a vicious cycle of promoting friends and allies than they are at making the company better.

    They need to set up a structure to reward the good employees and help the rest of the employees become better with training and better learning programs

    Pros

    Dedicated, smart teams. Open floor plan encourages collaboration. Lunch and learns are informative. Holiday events are nicely done and promote teamwork.

    Cons

    No training. Poor communication from upper management. No true opportunity for advancement. Many talented people only stay a short period of time and then move on due to this culture.

    Advice to Management

    Provide opportunities for advancement, reward good talent, don't play favorites. Offer training classes across the board and on a regular basis. Improve your tuition assistance program.
