I worked at GreySpark full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The company is on its way to liquidation. If you have a choice between killing yourself or working here, my only advice is 1 minute of pain is better than an eternity of suffering.

    Cons

This company is a complete joke, if you have recently applied don't waste your time. Honestly find something else. The partners are imbeciles and they are happy to interview and waste your time when they have no current projects in the pipeline. They are likely to offer you a job after 3 long interview rounds and then rescind your offer when they realize they can't afford to pay you. Office location is really bad, good...

    Advice to Management

Hire more incompetent business development managers so the company finally goes into liquidation.

First of all, thank you for your review and advice. However, several of your comments appear to be factually wrong. First, no-one can call herself/himself a "Former Employee - FinTech Analyst" as: - this job title never existed in GreySpark - all the members of the FinTech ...

I have been working at GreySpark full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nothing really great to say about this company

    Cons

Where shall I start? Everyone is completely unprofessional and there seems to be an air of passive aggressiveness and untruthfulness lingering in the atmosphere. People are always getting let go, without any good reason. No one is really supportive and all in all, just a really bad 'small' company to work for. Senior management and partners are just completely incompetent. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

    Advice to Management

Get yourself fired and hire competent managers

    Pros

On the surface management is more or less friendly, this is a veneer to the "sausage factory" / sweat shop that they are running

    Cons

Work you to the bone, dangle carrots which are 1/2 delivered as an procedural methodology to keep you there as long as possible CEO more or less a megalomaniac

    Advice to Management

      I worked at GreySpark

      Pros

Stepping stone if you are a grad

      Cons

A disorganised company full of broken promises with too many university graduates without industry knowledge. A high number of senior staff have resigned , including a partner, because of the poor environment. It was a much lower standard than I was led to believe in the recruitment process.

      Advice to Management
