I worked at Greystone Healthcare Management (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company had some very helpful staff for assistance to new employees

    Cons

I did not like that it was so vastly different than an acute setting. I did not like the beliefs that management seemed to have was that "residents" not "patients" were seemingly just a dollar sign not a person. Seemed extremely concerned about legality issues not necessarily the actual care of the "resident"

    Advice to Management

Seemed extremely concerned about legality issues not necessarily the actual care of the "resident". I would advise them to evaluate the reasons they entered the healthcare field.

I have been working at Greystone Healthcare Management (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pays ok, pretends to care about staff patient care

    Cons

All about dollars/cents. Management receives bonuses based on being cheap/short cuts to staff. Very rarely provided with necessities to perform work duties. Bad management, doesn't know basics of Medicare laws. Revolving door for staffing at all levels, regular and management

    Advice to Management

Stop donating money to charities and start investing in your own company. Stop offering kickbacks to multiple mid-level managers and instead provide staff with tools to succeed
