I have been working at Greystone Healthcare Management full-time

    Pros

Solid CEO who is compassionate and caring. Leads by example.

Good healthcare and associated benefits at all levels.

    Rock solid reputation.

    Terrific colleagues.

    Cons

There is a tendency towards micromanagement at all levels.

Paid time off is not competitive for management level staff (15 total days inclusive of sick time). Makes work-life balance impossible. This is tough in a work and commitment-centric company like Greystone.

There is a panty hose rule...females must wear hosiery-yes in Florida!

    Advice to Management

Rethink paid time off for your salaried staff...this costs you nothing as most of them are not "replaced" when they are off. It's not competitive.

Toss the Draconian panty hose rule....your female employees will have a celebration. If some are dressing inappropriately...address that individually-don't punish everyone with an antiquated rule.

    Pros

Training is very intensive and prepares you for your job. Greystone is a growing company with many opportunities to advance your career.

    Cons

Pay not the best could have more affordable health insurance as well. Insurance is not affordable with amount they are willing to pay.

I have been working at Greystone Healthcare Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The base pay is pretty good, they offer 12 hour shifts, management are very nice.

    Cons

Short staffed , not very much orientation/ training for new grad nurses, lack of support amongst staff.

    Advice to Management

Be more previlant in the night shift they need guidance too, offer longer orientation for new staff members , have a more stable work environment.

I have been working at Greystone Healthcare Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

none what so ever except you have some really good co workers

    Cons

cockroaches everywhere and ants. Most of our concentrators don't work we have most the oxygen patients on E Tanks. Staffing is horrible we most nights have 16 patients a piece if not 24 a piece when we are really short, staffed. The place is so bad we can only keep staff for a month or two. Also no holiday bonuses

I have been working at Greystone Healthcare Management full-time

    Pros

    3 weeks of PTO annually
Core values are great in theory

    Cons

Too many shepherds, not enough sheep. Regional and corporate leadership consistently contradict each other.
Promises such as bonuses are not paid to staff on time if at all
CEO must approve everything, has too much on her plate and things are delayed for months sometimes
    Processes are redundant
    Poor support
Promotions often come with a small pay increase, much lower than wage offered to someone hired in off the street
Core values are not carried out
