  5. "I regret taking this job, total waste of my time. Retail pharmacy is better than this hospital pharmacy job hands down."

I worked at Griffin Hospital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There really aren't any pros except that the cafeteria food is super cheap so you'll save money there, which you'll probably need since the salary here for hospital inpatient pharmacists is in my opinion way too low.

    Cons

Where do I begin? Even health insurance offered by the retail chains is better than what's offered here. 401k match is terrible. Pay is unacceptably below nationwide average for the same position at other hospitals. Techs don't give respect and the culture between your techs and other pharmacists at the inpatient pharmacy is absolutely terrible. I feel like everyone just likes to snitch back to the boss. I don't even like the boss herself since she can be utterly rude, and an unpleasant/undesirable presence to be around. If you value your time, I do not recommend working here not even to get hospital experience. you will regret it.

    Advice to Management

Human resources should keep directors in check to properly treat their employees. Offer competitive health insurance, and competitive 401k matching. Reimburse employees for travel expense and licensure/continuing education costs, and inclement weather lodging costs.
