    Pros

Many great people to work with, best cafeteria food around, onsite out-patient pharmacy is convienant

    Cons

Pay, staffing, lacking in quality equipment, too many staff members get away with stuff

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the riff-raff and focus less on "planetress" and more on actually giving patients the care they deserve. Less renovations and beautifying and better pay and assistance for the staff

I have been working at Griffin Hospital part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

PlaneTree is a great philosophy. Everyone you come in contact with is very friendly and extremely patient/visitor centered. I have been in another hospital as an inpatient and the staff were so loud and obnoxious that it was impossible to sleep and have a full recovery but when you are in Griffin we have "Quiet time" to the best ability of the staff to ensure the recovery and comfort for each individual and their family. The hospital and its staff try to make sure that the patient and the family feel like they are "at home".

    Cons

Wages are not competitive. More and more gets added to your job description with no compensation for any of it.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing to say.

I have been working at Griffin Hospital full-time

    Pros

Benefits are great. I started with 3 weeks of vacatio. Health benefits for a family is the lowest I have paid for coverage.

    Cons

Management is shady. All department are not treated the same at the faculty practice

    Advice to Management

Hire competent candidates. Listen to employees that have an issue with the same manager. Promote your staff. Don't keep staff some staff in the dark about changes in the works and then tell others.
