    I worked at Griswold Home Care part-time

    Pros

    good but don't answer emergency calls right away

    Cons

    Lack of moral support. Bias in their treatment. They only listened and believed the client's side without listening to my side first before making judgement. Sometimes it is just a misunderstanding of miscommunication between client and caregiver. very low pay.

    Advice to Management

    Caregivers are the lifeblood of your business. We are your hands and feet. We see and touch our clients, we feel their pain, we get a taste of their suffering, anger and hopelessness. And we carry it with us even after our shift . Ours is a tedious job and is not paid so well. But we don't see is as a job, it is more about caring and serving others.     Pros

    Flexible schedule. Can pick and choose clients. Takes injury restrictions seriously and will work with you.

    Cons

    Expected to work with low pay and no benefits. Put lots of mileage on your car and if client doesn't by the tools you need company will not reimburse you for your expenses. Will not pay overtime

    Advice to Management

    Consider paying a highest wage to your employees and providing benefits.

      Pros

      Rewarding to help caregivers have jobs and refer clients to good caregivers. Great position for an undergraduate or someone fresh out of school who needs experience.

      Cons

      Low pay, long hours, lack of growth opportunities, lack of work and life balance, minimal time off, under appreciated, no lunch breaks

      Advice to Management

      Show more appreciation towards staff or high turnover rate will continue.
