I have been working at Grossinger Autoplex full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Started there as a sales person 3 years ago, and when up to a sales manager and then business manager. Just work hard and company will pay you back!

    Cons

Takes lot of time, but at the end it worth it...

I worked at Grossinger Autoplex full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really almost none to speak of. There are some good people there to work with and some of the clients are great. Oh, and the money was fantastic, but even then this job wasn't worth it.

    Cons

This dealership is part of a group that operates unethically and even unlawfully at times. I've personally witnessed the service department steal parts from one customer car to try to repair another. I've also personally experienced unlawful employee "chargebacks" and was terminated for not authorizing them. It amazes me that this dealership is even still in business and hasn't had their franchises pulled. They don't have most of the tools required by the brands in service, and their advisors are not brand-specific, as required by most brands today. Bottom line, you don't want to work for this company at this or any of their other locations. It's just not worth the hassle.

    Advice to Management

Find other employment. There is no way to fix this dealer group without changing the dealer principle.

I have been working at Grossinger Autoplex part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I enjoy working in a relaxed environment and Grossinger gives my just that. It also allows you to build relationships with your co-workers which is alwats appreciated.

    Cons

Depending on your position you may be stuck working somewhat crazy hours that can be annoying at times, but overall it's not bad.

    Advice to Management

Raise pay to match other dealerships, it's a good environment but people don't stick around because the pay is significantly less than a majority of dealerships

    Pros

    You learn to survive
    Drive new cars
    Fun coworkers

    Cons

Too many, pay is shady, over work you and blame you if you can't make ends meet. I did ok but saw too many fall. Your body will take a toll.

    Advice to Management

Pay base Salary plus commission people have bills and rent and invest in employees or you will be under staffed in the future.

    Pros

Learn about cars - Very hard to say because there isn't much about this company that's great. A few good people but a lot of people there are sneaky

    Cons

Literally, the worst company I've ever worked for. Management doesn't care about employees at all! Very sneaky people in charge - not trustworthy at all. Pay was not equivalent to amount of work requested. There were several times I was told to lie to customers which is ultimately the reason why I left. You would think that a fairly small organization owner Gary Grossinger (who was often there) would try to make the employees feel welcomed or even acknowledge them. There is reasoning behind all this and the way this company runs and it all stands behind money and the fact that their employee turnover rates are high. Be careful if you are considering working for Grossinger, I really wish I hadn't - waste of time.

I worked at Grossinger Autoplex full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get to drive a bunch of cars around and eventually might be able to take one to and from work

    Cons

If you are okay with making $300/week for 50-55 hours/week for your first three months, this is a great job for you. The more senior salespeople will get all the easy sales and you'll be stuck harassing walk-ins while your manager criticizes you.

Just get a job at McDonald's. Less work same pay

    Advice to Management

Sales managers already know what's wrong with the operation and they will more than likely quit as often as the salespeople. Upper management doesn't seem to care
