    Pros

Biggest Company World... Great Innovation in Construction. Complex Projects that give well rounded experience

    Cons

New to North America. Not so great benefits. Lots of French Influence

    Advice to Management

Make it an american company. Not a french company that works in USA.

Americaribe is a great place to obtain experience as an intern as it gives you the opportunity to be involved in big projects.

I worked at Groupe Bouygues as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible working hours, friendly co-workers, good salary

    Cons

No responsibilities in any level, slow reactivity, corporate level decision making makes the interaction difficult between the departments, meantime some employees profit plainly and do only little work as their job is not supervised among the superiors who are always out somewhere in meetings... nobody knows is fruitful or just formal time wasting procedure. IT department makes the software/server updates on any time they decide so, servers are down in the middle of the day, no email no nothing.Entire departments are sitting and waiting to the serveer to be functional again, sometimes several hours of outage. In other companies it is done late in the evening (10PM- AM) or during Saturdays or Sundays, and never any problem with the servers.

    Advice to Management

Be open to innovative propositions of the employees, or even subcontractors. Listen to the most bottom-level employees without the filter of their superiors. I know nobody from Bouygues France will read this because it's in English.

The company is still trying to set the basis for a organized structure. A bit more difficult to blend if you do not speak french.

I worked at Groupe Bouygues as an intern

    Pros

Great on-site experience, independence, opportunities to lead even as an intern. Team-driven, with team meetings every week to update on progress and to voice out issues or problems encountered during work.

    Cons

May be inefficient at times because work is not delegated properly. While saying they are team-driven, tend to have cliques (office politics).

    Advice to Management

Inefficiency arise due to problem of delegation of work, problem of hiring too many in some aspects and too few in others
