You learn more in a role at Groupon in one year than you learn at most other companies in a decade.

    Cons

If you don't deal well with a rapidly changing environment where you may need to roll up your sleeves, this is not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Groupon (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fast Growing Company. If you are between ages 22-26 there are few places where you can grow your career as quickly as one can at Groupon! In the Sales department, the sky is the limit. A rep can make as little or as much money as they want depending on how hard and smart they work! Great place to meet young hungry individuals in the city of Chicago!

    Cons

'What have you done for me lately' type of sales. Providing new business to the Groupon pipeline is difficult and one can burnout if they do not manage their time efficiently and effectively.

    Advice to Management

Give more freedom to the sales department to operate as they see fit. It is not a one size fit all job. Mandatory call blocks and minimum requirement for dials may be necessary for first year or entry level employees, but those who have performed well should not be micro-managed!
