    Pros

Managers at store level are exceptional. It would be a challenge to find a harder working more dedicated group of individuals. They are required to be and achieve a high level of organization and self motivation. The environment of a retail outlet that can change rapidly from quite quiet to extremely busy very quickly makes a very high level of organization a must. The hands on work is enjoyable on a day to day basis.

    Cons

Recognition of achievement and dedication is non-existent. Support for the Management and staff is inconsistent at best. Attempts to improve the financial state of the business is met with distrust and criticism, even when it is clear that no personal motive or gain is possible. There is discourse and disagreement amongst the ownership that causes undue stress to the employees working environment. Follow through is speratic and unorganized in both employee and operational issues. Responsibilities are passed on the managers and staff that they are not in the position to handle. Salaries are poor and there are no benefits provided.

    Advice to Management

positive feedback to staff goes a long way to improving job satisfaction
