I worked at Grupo Bimbo as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Well established successful global company in the food service industry. Dedicated to implementing standardized procedures and policies at all manufacturing facilities.

    Cons

Forced newly acquired company into Grupo Bimbo model. Did not readily consider and accept acquired companies current procedures and business practices. Had to conform to Grupo Bimbo method even if it was perceived as not the best business practice.

    Advice to Management

Review current procedures and polices of newly acquired companies and incorporate best business practices when able. Also, need to segregated the procedures and polices between implementation and daily operations.
