    Pros

Decent starting pay for the industry. Great sites, great accessable management. Doesnt take it self to seriously but always acts professional. Management and fellow employees were all great people, I didnt mind going to work a single day.

    Cons

Economic downsizing. Guardsmark is losing contracts in my area and I was laid off. Would take the job again in a heartbeat if they were more competitive in the security market

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what your doing for your employees, but please get more competitive in your field.

I have been working at Guardsmark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great, flexible, hard working team, I have nothing but good things to say about Guardsmark to an extent.

    Cons

Don't let them push you around. Stay firm with your salary and they'll cut you down at a moment notice. The branch office seems to be understaffed.

I worked at Guardsmark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Gave an opportunity to work at my duty post with little or no supervision and I always produce the needed results

    Cons

Working with people of different background sometimes may be challenging but since everyone is there to better the needs of Guardsmark, I always listen to criticism, complains, advice

    Advice to Management

Management is an of getting things done through others. To achieve this, management should always Make themselves feasible to the lower level so that idea of way forward can be shared

I worked at Guardsmark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good culture, decent pay, decent benefits. The company treats you like a human being. They will often back you up in times of trouble.

    Cons

A little behind on the technology end of things. I would like to see the company allow direct deposit. When I worked there it wasn't allowed at all locations.

    Advice to Management

Keep supporting your Supervisors, you're doing well.

I worked at Guardsmark full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Guardsmark is one of the highest paid and presentable (uniform) security companies in Memphis.

    Cons

The chain of command was screwed up, Guardsmark recruited/hired some of the most untrained and unprofessional supervisors to be over the security guards

    Advice to Management

Take the supervisors through more than a weeks worth of training and psychological tests because they need it Pryor to supervising any employee.
