    Pros

    Security officers are discipline, ability to handle/ control difficult situations, having something or someone to secure or monitor and etc...

    Cons

    Handling/controlling difficult situations, filing, filling out DAR's, foot patrols, monitoring, protecting facility,being on a timely manner, write reports and etc.

    Advice to Management

    Hard dedicated workers make a team, organizing our company to succeed & accomplish more together, increasing/ expanding our business, contracts and etc.

    Pros

    Awesome people and environment. Simply be honest/up front with them. Work with them and they will work with you.

    Cons

    Occasional discrepancies for pay but bring it to your supervisor's attention, it will be fixed. Does not happen often though as long as you have it in your timesheet.

    Pros

    The company is flexible with your schedule. They expect you to do your job and that's all. No one will be breathing down your neck.
    Almost impossible to get fired
    very good job if your in school

    Cons

    Pay scale isn't very good at all and the opportunity to move up is limited. Very limited.
    If something goes wrong, technically, you cant do anything or you'll get sued.
    Never once saw anyone who was apart of senior management for the year I worked there

    Advice to Management

    In order to make it to management, you basically have to wait till a manager quits or gets fired. Both are highly unlikely,

    Pros

    Overtime if you ask for it, friendly supervisor if you do your job well and post is relaxed and mostly stress free.

    Cons

    Communication is fuzzy between guards and supervisor. Training can be incomplete and procedures can be left out.

    Advice to Management

    Stay on top of what guards are doing and saying. As well as train throughly.

    Pros

    Great company, fair pay, decent supervisors, great client locations, opportunity for growth, generally great people to work with, management opportunities available regularly.

    Cons

    Be careful to be sure what you are accepting and be sure that your site manager has your back! Sometimes, they are really great but do something they don't like or they think isn't in your best interest they will get rid of you!

    Flexible Schedule
    The account managers let me run my site, my way and according to the customer rules and regulations.
    The company recognizes supervisors and security officers accomplishments.
    Managers are very nice and try to go out of the way for you.

    Cons

    No opportunity to advance due to small department in San Diego.
    Undermanned
    Everything is still paper work
    pay very little depending on site.
    If your site is not manned fully, then personnel cannot take vacation
    No yearly pay raises

    Advice to Management

    Doing paper work electronically is the way the future of businesses are heading.
    Advance those who deserve to be advanced or else people are going to seek to work elsewhere.

    good pay, free uniform, free meals

    Cons

    lack of real training, long commute, lack of staffing( had a almost 20 hour shift because no one came to relief me then had to be back for my usual shift less than 9 hours later)
