I have been working at Guess? full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Provides me with a good salary as well as amount of hours that are flexible in case of emergencies. All the managers and employees work well together and I have a pleasant time every day at work.

    Cons

Honestly speaking there are no downsides to working at guess. It truly meets all my expectations, and is a tool to help me achieve my goals.

    Advice to Management

Always shoot above and beyond what goals are given to you. Show up early, assure all customers have a pleasant experience, and most importantly, all employees have the keys that they need to succeed not only in a work environment but as individuals.

I worked at Guess? full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The discount, the experience, the structure, organized company. Co workers become family (if they don't go behind your back, which most do) you learn great 100% customer service and sales.

    Cons

Expect too much from the managers and little pay. Too much gossip between managers and associates. No room to grow. Store managers take advantage now that there are no DM roles. No quality of life

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people. Respect them and be upfront. Make schedules FAIR! And give people a raise...no one believes the company has been on a freeze for over a year, stop being cheap.

I worked at Guess? full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employee bonus days are 50% off on normal days %40 off
    Pretty good health insurance

    Cons

Horrible Company. bottom line is very unethical. Art of selling on the floor is non-realistic and everyone including Corporate is in denile. No support from upper management although they love to ask if you need anything, but will not help you. Very unhealthy environment please do not fall for the speech they give you! I was there almost a year and it was absolutely horrible

    Advice to Management

Be real and honest with yourself!

    Advice to Management

Part time sale associates need more training, not just the management team.
