I have been working at Guess? part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good discounts at the store plus at g by guess, marciano and the retail store. All the people i work with are like my family

    Cons

Too much work. They even have me training the new hired people which is a manager's job and they still pay me the same.

    Advice to Management

They should raise our salary. And they should stop hiring whoever walks in the store..

I worked at Guess? full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The discount, the experience, the structure, organized company. Co workers become family (if they don't go behind your back, which most do) you learn great 100% customer service and sales.

    Cons

Expect too much from the managers and little pay. Too much gossip between managers and associates. No room to grow. Store managers take advantage now that there are no DM roles. No quality of life

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people. Respect them and be upfront. Make schedules FAIR! And give people a raise...no one believes the company has been on a freeze for over a year, stop being cheap.

I worked at Guess? part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very good employee discount, friendly co workers, everything else was bad no other cons ..........

    Cons

Head manager likes to hide merchandise to see if you are mindful of theft , too much pressure on meeting sales goal, you have to wear heels and wear guess clothing which isn't cheap at all. Don't work here if you are looking for a chill place

    Advice to Management

    Give your associates more incentives

I worked at Guess? (More than a year)

    Pros

The people, fun atmosphere, everyone becomes really close like a family. I had a good experience because I got to know the managers, you should do the same.

    Cons

Obviously working in retail can become stressful, especially during holidays. You have to sell to be moved up

    Pros

Cant think of any Pros.. a couple good managers?

    Cons

Very high, sometimes unethical competition between sales associates. Co-workers often steal your sale since you have to stay in one area of the store no matter where the customer you are helping goes to. Managers know about this but don't act upon it.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you put a stop to the customer thefts.... as that very much affects the work hours of other employees that might have a family to feed!

I have been working at Guess? part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Is nice to work in GUESS? Factory, you have 40% employee discount for regular price items and the markdowns are really good.

    Cons

Depends on the store (mine is a slow-paced store) you can have from 15hrs/weekkly to maybe 20-25hrs/week (shifts are 5hrs shifts). Just for an extra income.

    Advice to Management

    More incentives...
