I have been working at Gurstel Chargo full-time

    Pros

It is a great place to gain experience in the legal field if you are looking to break into this industry.

    Cons

Antiquated technology , training is not the greatest so when you think you're doing okay, it turns it's been wrong because communication is very poor.

    Advice to Management

The training curriculum needs to be planned better. Save your new employees the headaches and frustration.

I worked at Gurstel Chargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company can be a fantastic place to work, with pay and bonuses. They let you work whenever you can, they don't require you to work your schedules at all.

    Cons

Collection managers are collectors there, and only care about them selves. They don't care that the collections floor and people are not managed at all and if they are they are reprimanded it is publicly and you will be treated awful. It is really just chaos and unprofessional. They managers are not around often, and work way less than the employees underneath them.

    Advice to Management

The owners and Directors here need a full audit of what goes on when they are not watching. No one cares about integrity at this company.

    Pros

    Got a lunch break

    Cons

Worked there for less than 3 months and was expected to just sit at a desk and train myself. Worst job I have ever had.

    Advice to Management

Not enough space for characters I'm sure

    Pros

You can gain a great deal of knowledge and experience in legal processes and time management.

    Cons

The logo, "Accountability Matters", is a joke. Many of the employees, including the Supervising Attorney I worked under, found it difficult to be accountable for their actions. The immaturity and inappropriate actions of the management team caused loss of some great employees; revolving doors.

    Advice to Management

I advise management to be accountable for your actions; stop playing the blame game.

    Pros

Very flexible is you are late or sick and you also get experience.

    Cons

Honestly, what place to work. You are expected to do so much - the work load is unrealistic and they pay is not worth the stress. I worked there 3 months and I've never seen so many people leave a job. Everyone hates it.

    Advice to Management

Change fast or you won't have anything left.

Gurstel Chargo is a growing business, with offices in 6 states. If you stick around they will give you the chance to take on new responsibilities and will promote from within. The CEO is a caring and passionate leader who only wants to see the best for his business. The office environment is secure and pleasant. Management allows for you to give ideas to improve efficiency and encourages self-starters.

Currently no 401k match, medical premiums are high.

Develop a structure and incentives for employees to stay long term.
