I worked at H-J Enterprises full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

H-J is constantly expanding their business and there is no shortage of hours to be worked. Frequent overtime allows for increased income above the baseline. The profit sharing program is a nice perk.

    Cons

The upper management have no respect for the employees time. Mandatory overtime is not uncommon and often comes with very little, if any, warning. This can make scheduling appointments, child-care, or any other activity requiring work-life balance difficult. The attendance policy is very strict.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at H-J Enterprises full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of good people. 2 weeks pay gift every xmas. 2 weeks payed vacation after 2 years.

    Cons

Not enough employees. No raises for good performance. Rate is never up to Date per job. Max pay after 1 year. max vacation after 10 years.

    Advice to Management

This is people's livelihood. People that work here care about your company. Show you care about them. Someone that's been there 15 years shouldn't make what someone that's been there 1 year makes. If you can't pay your bills your not going to be happy to come in every day.

    Pros

    The building is well maintained

    Cons

This was one of the worst places I have ever been employeed . after I was hired and signed all the paperwork on the first day the hr person told me "just to let you know I can be a real b ". That is a quote and she was not lieng. If you like being overworked and treated like a subhuman this is the place.
