I have been working at H&M part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Only had one shift
25% discount on h&m, cos, & other stories, monki, cheap monday
    Holidays
    Based on your flexibility

    Cons

They emphasise how all the employees are 'one' and a team yet when new people start the job, old workers aren't welcoming at all.

    Shift pattern changes

    Left to learn everything yourself

Some workers have very bad english and you cant really understand them and they cannot answer customer questions

    Advice to Management

    Structure training for new employees.

    I worked at H&M full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    great salary, vacation time, Benefits

    Cons

upper management, work life balance, inconsistent expectations from DT

    Advice to Management

in my career I've worked with many district and area teams, never one so unprofessional as the one in upstate market. There is never support when needed, and the way in which feedback is given is almost insulting. Feedback is supposed to be helpful, whether positive or constructive, not degrading. In meeting amongst my fellow peers, i've witnessed favoritism and sarcastic backlash.

    Pros

Great benefits (only reason I'm still with the company)

    Cons

If you want to grow with the company [which they promote so much] it's next to impossible. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. Other issues include; extreme unprofessionalism, false promises of raises/promotions, etc.

    Advice to Management

Stick by your policy of claiming to be "place of possible"

    Pros

I do no see anything positive working for this company. Your underpaid and over work. If workers call out you have to work twice as hard and get nothing in return.

    Cons

This is a terrible place to work at. Some of the managers are so rude and nasty. The pay is terrible and if you ever get hurt at work, some of the managers do not care about your well being or your health, Do not worst your time applying to work for this place.

    I worked at H&M full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Discounts , but beyond that nothing really

    Cons

Horrible choices in store managers , very young with no experience or people skills . Not sure what the purpose is to have one since the stores are ran with department managers and sales supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Hire from the outside for store management, lots of clicks happening in the store and gossip and no work. All in office on social media and no one worries about the store. Shouldn't training and development be a priority. Well not here, District managers need to visit there stores more often and speak to employees about the issues in the stores.

    Overtime is usually available.

    Cons

    Company devalues people.
    Stress is unbelievable.
You will work past midnight then be expected back at 5am the next day.

    Advice to Management

Learn to treat your staff like people.

    I worked at H&M part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If having a job at all is a pro then sure. It is either prostitution/drug sales/dodgy professions or working for capitalism that destroys your body, soul, mind, the planet and life, keeping people around the world in poverty with no way out besides praying you'll die fast. H&M does a remarkable work being the spokesperson for capitalism and that there is no alternative to it.

    Cons

Everything. The company makes millions of people around the world suffer painfully and slowly. All for benefit (money, land) of a few that are responsible for running the company. Constantly got ''feedback'' to not take it personally, because it is business. Really???

    Advice to Management

What kind of advice can you give psychopaths. narcissists, people who do not give a damn, only me me me me and other people can drop dead and die etc? It is a competition after all, right? Not live and let live. But live and kill!

25% discount on overpriced cheap clothes

    Cons

    Stressful
    No recognition for hard workers
    Lifework balance unesisting
    Managent overtime is not paid

    Advice to Management

Promote people that deserve a promotion because they work hard, not because they are your asskissers. Also, a bit older management as youngs with no life or work experience managing a store is frustrating and a BIG NO NO
