    I worked at H&M full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, very competitive pay, generous vacation package, all the benefits of working for a European company here in the US.

    Cons

Your experience will depend entirely on the store you work in. Mine was not run well at all. Upper management did not adhere to company guidelines, favoritism was bad and we lost good employees because of it.

    Advice to Management

    Just do better.

I have been working at H&M full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

benefits, consistent hours for full timers

    Cons

opportunities for promotion are few and far between, it all depends on your district and god forbid you try to transfer to another they do not like that at all and will make you jump through hoops
the amount of responsibilities for a full time employee are insane, the pay does not match the workload or title that is given and it comes to a breaking point for everyone

    Advice to Management

be professional, actually care about your employees

    Pros

The company has great benefits and has a fun atmosphere.

    Cons

It can take some time to get promoted. Sometimes managers play favorites, but that always isn't the case.

    Advice to Management

Spend more money on fixing IT issues.

I have been working at H&M full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

No uniform. Can express yourself. Can run your business how you want but must be open to constant feedback and no suggestions on betetr ways of working. Freedom to make your own schedule. 5 weeks vaction. 8 holidays and wellness days. Great benefits. Decent salary if you fight for it. Better salary when hired externally rather than promoted internally.

    Cons

No growth or development once you reach store manager. No communication amongst district team. Too many "bosses" on the district team. No support. No streamline focuses. Everyone is interested in their own focus. Lots of constructive critism which comes off more like negative feedback and no support, guidince, ideas or suggestions on how to fix or work in a smarter or better way. Everyone has an opinion. No one is driving the best ways to get to the company's goals.
