    Pros

    Flexible work hours. Certification levels allow for quick advancement and more money.

    Cons

    Summer hours are little to nothing.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on Summer service more. They put all their efforts into tax season. The summer service is often neglected.

    Pros

    Have worked for H & R block for 9 years.....retired about 6 years ago....want to work close to home part time.....

    Cons

    Low salary other chores were fine....did not like to make phone calls soliciting.

    Training is excellent- providing online, classroom and virtual.

    Cons

    For most employees this IS a seasonal position, not year round

    Keep up a good job; increase tax pro compensation!

    I worked at H&R Block (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Employees are treated like family, everyone works together to accomplish top-notch work, and while most clients are long time returning ones, new clients are welcomed with the same enthusiasm and dilligence!

    Cons

    None! This place is Great! They are flexible with almost every schedule you may have the need to work around. Very laid back while maintaining a professional demeanor.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work. Please don't change a single thing. You are the epitome of an awesome place to work.

    Pros

    We help people to make sure their tax returns are as accurate as possible based on the information provided by the client.

    Cons

    Not enough benefits for part-time employees... there should be options for returning employees.

    Advice to Management

    Hire people earlier and get their training done sooner, that way they can get in the office and start doing practice problems to prepare for all tax scenarios in advance.
