I worked at H&R Block full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people there are good people that work hard.

    Cons

This company will work you into the ground and then some. The company is very top heavy and they certainly don't pay for performance. It is all based on goals set. If the company sets unrealistic goals and you dont meet them your bonus and raise (if you get any at all) suffer.

    Advice to Management

    Be honest.

    Pros

Great opportunity to grow in your career. I started 12 years ago by taking the basic course that they offer and I am now an Enrolled Agent. Pay is based on your expertise, I personally made $36K for last season, expecting to reach $40K this year. Not to shabby for only working 3 1/2 months!

    Cons

I wish they offered health insurance to seasonal employees.
