I Have worked for H2I for about a month now and have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience; almost every company I have worked for boasts a work/life balance and never follow through with that promise. THIS COMPANY DOES, they understand that each employee has a family to take care of and stick by that. Aside from that huge benefit, they pay well, have great benefits, and each job is different so I am constantly learning new skills for the future. I can't say enough about my experience working here.

Cons

There is occasionally long distance travel, but they work w your family life and lodging for those jobs.

The company is well run, everyone is professional and helpful. I am able to work from home. There are a lot of resources available.

This company is amazing to work for as a new hire I've had appropriate training and a warm welcome by the team. I've been with the company for over 3 months now and my team, as well as management and others in the office, have gone above and beyond to assure that I am set up for success from answering questions to helping me with tasks. It's nice to be in a healthy work environment.

I am the General Manager at H2I West. I worked for a company that was acquired by H2I in 2019. I would like to share my experience since new leadership has been in put in place a little over a year ago. I work in an environment that encourages me to speak up and to share my opinions. I work for a boss, even though he doesn't like that word, that does not micromanage, is respectful, encouraging and has created an amazing culture amongst my peer group. I work with leaders that do not let ego get in the way of good decisions and productive conversations. I love the work we do here and I am proud to be a member of this team.

What we do is hard, but that is what makes what we do special. We have a lot of challenges right now due to the environment that COVID has created but we have a great group of problem solvers. I know that when I look back I can confidently say that our team got through this because they had each other's backs.

Communication about mentoring for new people

The support I was provided as a new hire was excellent. I had only a portion of the experience to do this job on day 1, but they took the time to find that I had the necessary traits to be successful. I have received training and help from peers across the company. The team culture that is created by being an ESOP has been energizing.

The people make this company special. Everyone is engaged, knowledgeable and helpful. Since H2I is an ESOP, when the company succeeds, we all succeed and there is a definite entrepreneurial spirit. H2I partners with top notch manufacturers and is well respected by all. The company provides all the high quality technology required to help us perform our work efficiently and effectively.

Working in the construction industry requires coordination of many moving parts, which can be complex, particularly under current market conditions. H2I personnel have handled complications with an eye toward providing the highest level of customer service, which is very important to me.
