I have been working at HARMAN full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Lots of talented people and a great place to lesrn.

    Cons

Management doesn't do proper risk analysis and followthrough when doing reorganization. The company is more interested in globalization than having leading technology.

    Advice to Management

Follow up and set more realistic time frames for execution of plans. It is better to do one thing right than two things wrong.. We spend more energy reorganizing than we do developing products. Everyone is in a constant state of disorientation and customers are leaving. Harman Professional is all about customer relationships. Managment needs to remember that.

Look at making sure staff are treated like adults and evaluate some of your middle level leadership. They don't provide the support needed for staff to do their jobs as well as they could.
