I worked at HARMAN as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

+ Get to work on and discuss cutting-edge technologies
+ Small office, and most people are very friendly
    + Excellent work/life balance

    Cons

    - As an intern, you don't have to deal with multiple projects/meetings everyday; this could be a con for some, a pro for others
    - Very unlikely for an intern to be offered a full-time role, unless someone leaves the team

    Advice to Management

Get interns more involved in projects and ideas apart from what they are working on.

I worked at HARMAN as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work days are enjoyable because you aren't always confined in your cube. In software test, you get to go on multiple test drives a week. Even driving to Starbucks to get coffee at 10am is considered a test drive if you are checking test cases, finding bugs, reproducing issues, etc. on the round trip. The testing intern manager also gives various projects (of your own preference) to one or more interns to complete and present during the internship.

    Cons

Even if you are well-liked as an intern, once you return to school it is your job to contact HR if you want to return to Harman.
